The guys from Pocketnow have laid their hands on what appears to be the Optimus LTE HD for AT&T, called the LG Nitro HD. The Optimus LTE is the first handset to feature a true HD screen, that means that instead of the lesser Pentile Matrix layout the Galaxy Nexus uses, this screen makes use of the RGB layout, giving it roughly 30% more subpixels. The major difference is that this phone is running Gingerbread instead of Ice Cream Sandwich and given the fact that LG won't receive the price for the most frequent updates that is indeed a drawback.
The other specs are pretty standard for a high-end phone: a 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of ROM, 8MP camera and Bluetooth 3.0. Do I hear you asking about the battery life? With a 1830 mAh battery, that probably won't be an issue.
